I often stop and think to myself: "What has this world come to?"
People jobless due to the economy sucking or just people who are jobless due to pure stupidity and won't take a menial job just because they're "better than that".
People consumed with television and movies that they forget reality or people so consumed with news, world-wide or local, they get scared to even leave their houses or try something new due to fear of what will happen to them.
People with their cars that zoom by and don't think about consequences.
With these three thoughts above, it boils down to this (all in my opinion of course): You must be goal-driven in this world. Whether you take a job you feel is beneath you, or a job that is not related to what you want or would like to do, have your goals in the back of your head, but take a job to survive. Take the job no one else wants or will do. A person needs to make money somehow.
Take chances, live life (to the fullest), do something perhaps out of your comfort zone every once in awhile.
Think about others. Think about what you will do can affect them. If you feel what you are doing is wrong, it probably is wrong. If you are going to break up with someone and they do not realize it is coming, let them down easy, let them cope the way they know how or need to. If you feel you need to say something or about someone, say it to their face; be nice about it (as nice as you could be) and don't talk about them behind their backs.
If anyone is still reading, I guess I have been treaded over, like big tires in mud too many times. I am sick of people who go around in circles until they "think" they know what they want, but truly do not and probably never will. I am sick of people telling lies, or moreso, just ignoring me.
I want to find someone to settle down with, I want my eyes to light up when I see them and vice versa. I want to feel like I am the only one in the room, even when we are in a crowded restaurant or just a place filled with people. I want the guy to know I care, cherish, and perhaps someday love him. I want to be the first to hear great news or to be there for the bad news.
Is this all really too much to ask for? Generosity? Hones t and truth? Goal driven? Family-oriented? Looking for a committed, long-term relationship? A male who clearly has a good set of shoulders on his head, all his shit together, no drama, no ex's and knows exactly what he wants (in life and everything else)?
